Julius Re-Elected to Ugandan Parliament

Our founder and leader Julius Achon was re-elected as a Minister of Parliament in January 2026.

Julius will continue to leverage this position to improve the lives of his constituent, and to facilitate AUCF’s ongoing work in healthcare, water access and microfinance.

Yet another chapter in a remarkable story of a boy who was raised in remote Uganda and abducted by Joseph Kony’s army, yet went on to run in the Olympics, and to serve in his country’s government.
