KHC Outreach Program Changing Lives in Otuke District

For five years, Kristina Health Center has responded to urgent medical concerns among the people of Otuke District.

Now, though, thanks to expanded resources made possible through generous donations, AUCF staff at the clinic are not only responding to concerns, but preventing them before they arise.

We have trained staff to meet with local community members — leaders and citizens alike — to train them in healthy lifestyles, hygiene, safety, nutrition, and even exercise. As they provide this training, they of course also raise awareness about KHC’s direct services — for when illness arises or accidents do occur.
